Today our sweet Jacob turned 9 years old. We are so proud of him and the amazing young man he is becoming. As we were talking today about everyone coming over for his birthday, Jacob said “I wish our whole family could be together for my birthday”, I said everyone is coming over tonight, the whole family will be together. His reply stopped me in my tracks…”Mom, we won’t all be together tonight unless Jesus comes back.” We all miss Hannah so much, and no matter what, Hannah is always on our minds and hearts and is always a part of everything we do. It’s hard to celebrate without Hannah, we are not a “whole” family without her, but we do know that one day we will celebrate everything together again.
