Each week at school Jacob has to write a summary of one of the things that he read the previous week. What he wrote this last week was about Genesis in his Beginners Bible, he wrote about how at first there was darkness….But God Had a Plan. It struck me as so profound as I read it again and again in that sweet little Bible story book….But God Had a Plan. We are all part of that plan, each and every one of us, each and every experience, they are all part of His perfect plan. Even though I still ask Him “why?” regularly, I do understand that He has a plan, and that plan is so much better than anything I could even begin to imagine. Right now it doesn’t always make sense to me, but I do know that on that day when I either meet Jesus in the sky or after my last breath here on earth, things will truly begin to make sense.
We’ve gone through a great deal of darkness, but through it all the LIGHT has always been here, and that light is Jesus Christ!
