For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:24-25

About Us

1  Thessalonians 4:13-18

King James Version (KJV)

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Hope of Hannah follows the continuing journey of the Hasslen family.  We are Bill, Amy, Hannah & Jacob….we’re a family of four, currently living on this earth as a household of three anxiously awaiting the  Glorious Day when we are all together again.  This website is dedicated to our sweet beautiful daughter Hannah who fought a brave battle with liver cancer and has gone ahead of us to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

First and foremost we are followers of Jesus Christ, we live to know Him and to make Him known.  As you navigate through the site you will see that our journey began with us stepping out in faith before we knew where God was leading and before our precious Hannah became ill.  It never ceases to amaze us how the One True God is so concerned about each and every one of us, and He is even in to the smallest of details.  Our prayer is that this site will touch lives, help others not feel so alone and bring the hope of Jesus Christ to those experiencing similar trials.

Come quickly Lord Jesus!
