It’s been a while since we have blogged. Often I’ll feel little nudges to blog during the day, but by the time I stop and sit down at the end of the day, I’m just tired and it doesn’t get written. What I’m being reminded of is that we have to take the time to be still and listen and obey, even through all the busyness of life…there is One that surpasses it all, Jesus Christ! I have to spend more time listening to Him and less time listening to me (and the nudging of the world). Stay tuned for more blogs, we will be attempting to blog a lot more… I’m not promising blogs on any type of schedule…it is truly in the hands of God, and we will only blog if the Holy Spirit guides us to. Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
I’ll close with a couple of lines from a great poem by C.T. Studd. “Only one life, twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.” We are all human and we all fall very short. What do you need to do in order to be still and listen to Him more?
In Him!
Amy
