September 12, 2012 – Childhood Cancer

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  Cancer is an incredibly frightening word, just like the word death.  As we go through this month, which also happens to be the month that we found out about Hannah’s cancer, we pray for all of the children suffering with this dreaded disease and for the families mourning the loss of their children to cancer.

We don’t know if there will be a cure for cancer before Jesus returns (we pray that there will be).  The one thing that we do know is that one day there will be no more disease or death.  Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

If you are dealing with cancer or mourning the loss of a loved one, we would love to pray for you.  Please feel free to send us prayer requests through this website or you can also connect with us on facebook!/pages/The-Hope-of-Hannah/188358851263110 or twitter.
